ah, so that's where that was! when we went (1985????) the entrance was padlocked. there was a pirate ship next to it right?

Somewhere "between Staines and Chertsey" (wherever the hell they are), I seem to remember from the adverts. I do hope it's improved since then - I remember there used to be some petrol powered boats where you knew when your time was up cos, er... they ran out of petrol! And a man with a hook on a stick had to drag you in.
