Not sure I'm an expert I've done quite a lot in the Peaks.... Unfortunately I've never got across to Mam Tor and haven't done any research. I'm sure someone else'll be more useful!

The whole Mam Tor area is worth a visit, and is under-represented on TMA (so far...).
I have vague memories of a guide in the Treak Cliff caves mentioning discoveries in a cave entrance further up the hill from the show-cave. At least 2 caves are visable from the Castleton side...
