Your right Andy it looks like it has been raised.
Its funny someone went to the trouble of putting the cap back on, there are some works going ahead the old house at the entrance to the capstone. Maybe they had a JCB as part of the works and said they would give it a go.
4W your right about 'restored' tombs however if I had been the first to photograph this tomb then none of us would probably have suspected that it had been restored.
