I recently checked out the Binghill stone circle, near Milltimber, Aberdeen on Google Earth and noticed in the fields to the north what appear to be numerous eliptical impressions of roughly the same shape and size. I realise they could well be artifacts of modern farming, but also wondered if they could be the remnants of cairns.
