When Francis Pryor said "The cairns were for when someone passed on to the next world" I'm afraid I felt a bit of a heave.
Was it teatime Sunday, family viewing that stopped him saying the "dead" word? I can take "passed away" no bother - but "passed on to the next world" just made me think he was gonna start talking about fairies next.

But great to have TT back!

But he didn't mean "dead", he meant "passed on to the next world", presumably via the Liminal Space Portal. Keep up HD. ;-)
I cannae keep up wae such stuff! The next world - is that like Narnia, Gondor or some such place? Maybe they've got Liminal Space Portals down in Dartmoor, but up here the bones and cremations found in cairns belong to dead people. Cairns for housing the remains of dead people in this same world we live in.

He would have been referring of course to the Afterlife HD which many, including myself, thought they had a belief in. A bit like going to heaven but your remains stay here on earth...but you know that anyway so don't know why I'm telling you LOL.

Yes, exactly like those.
