Thanks FourWinds... we're into circles AND tombs - Sligo was completely amazing in 2001 (despite piss awful weather) - and we would like to go again, but feel we should see more of the rest of the country. We also briefly saw some of the Burren then. I haven't been to Cork since 1989 and can't remember that much about it. I've read somewhere that the Mizen (sp?) peninsula has plenty to see - is this right? How long does it take to get to Cork from Dublin?
How many sites worth seeing are there in Donegal?
We're in Dublin from July 16 for about 3 days - we're actually there for the CoBrA exhibition at the MoMA - but want to combine this with stone spotting - oooh, a guided tour would be absolutely fantastic... I saw Newgrange back in 89 but have no particular desire to see it again - would rather see smaller less 'developed' sites.
I don't always have time to check in here - could you email me directly at [email protected]? I really would like to arrange something for when we visit - you're a star!
THANKS!!!
