Petrol prices were ok (as ok as they can be!) but food and drink was at least 50% more expensive than the UK. It is worth it though to see the wonderful sites we visited.

Yeah we get ripped off here. I always buy in bulk and make sandwiches when going out and about. Looking forward to hearing about what you saw.

God, didnt think it was that much, got to agree with Standingstone, bring some sambos or fill up on the Irish Breakfast before you head off.

Yeah, reckon 50% more that UK is about right...... couldn't afford to eat out except at Burger King........ mind you we did see Lidls and other budget stores springing up as the economic downturn began to bite.
