Lucky you! Cork is a great city in itself but the sites... oh the sites! I've been down a few times now and there's still a huge amount of places I'm dying to see. I've been taking my time only visiting a handful of sites each time to get the most out of them and leaving plenty to be 'discovered' next trip. A lot of circles and stone rows are concentrated in fairly small areas so you could fit an awful lot into a couple of days but there are quite a few places better left for long, fine summer days.

OS Maps are an absolute must, using gps and 'as the crow flies' navigating usually made more difficulties than it solved for me! Only problem with maps is the sheer amount of sites can lead to confusion as to which one you actually want to go to.

Landowners also seem freindlier and more welcoming than in other parts but some are over enthusiastic and play down the worst terrain/fences/raging bulls.

I'm down there a fair bit for work too, if I am working on a Monday or Friday I usually stay over the day before/after so could possibly meet up for a rock hunt at some stage if you fancy it.

Cool might go for a spin some evening so, like I said I havent got any OS maps but judging from the amount of sites that yourself and 4winds have posted should be lots to see.
