It's the same place then. Just below Inishowen Head is <i>Srúibh Brain</i> which is pronounced Shroove. Just to the south is Stroove a bastardisation/Anglicisation of <i>An tSrúibh</i>, which means 'belonging to Srúibh' I think, with the 'An' causing an aspiration of the 'Sh' sound from the 's'. The Donegal accent would make this harsh and probably pronounce the 't' quite heavily. The stone is actually in Stroove townland. It's Irish speaking in those parts and the folks that wrote down and transcribed the townland names into English obviously weren't :-)
