BTW, what camera are you using? The colours look Nikon-like but they're silky smooth like Canon pics. Also, were you using a polariser on these particular shots??

Y'know, I'm still not sure about pictures with the heavy polarising lens effect (mainly because mine's shit and doesn't produce results like that! :-) They do look great and I wish I had a few more like it at the moment for the book, but there's still something artificial looking about them. When desaturated they look fucking superb as B&Ws!

It's hard to judge a camera's smoothness etc from a reduced image, because that's going to depend on what software you use to do it.

Hi Ken and all....

I got myself a Olympus E-500, twin lens kit...

I took the colour shots with just the polarising filter..

The B&W shots were taken with the polarising filter, with a red filter and shot as black & white..

Although i do work with Elements 4 software, these shots were straight from the memory card..i would normally do some work on them, but the weather and the lighting were perfect..so no need.
