No, but a farmer might well remove a drystane wall and leave the end stones behind for 'fenceposts'

I saw a hayfield yesterday on tv where the different areas were marked by stones. Solsbury hill has stones too, they're tiny, and they mark something to do with agriculture, says the nt. Guess we need a book on premodern agriculture.
