I know it sounds daft but we carry a very good set of stones around with us. Some of the smaller ones are arranged into a 'cove' pattern (in our mouths).

What were they so frightened of to destroy them so badly? - ask George W - it seems as though he fears the same thing. Those early archaeologists were tomb raiders, more like.

Broken off stones can be repaired just like teeth, with hard, hidden, cement and metal pins. It's better than just leaving them lying on the ground. Then brush them with half milk half water to develop a brisk patina.
