I didn't get to Stanton Drew, or any other site :-(

I was also sitting on the wrong side of the plane to see ST as we landed, which is a shame as it was 8am and the sun was at the perfect angle to pick up lovely landy lumps.

So, I was sitting there getting all time-teamy looking at old ploughed-out field boundaries etc and mistaking trees for rocks when I saw what absolutely looked like a circular henge-looking thing, or perhaps a flattened cairn. It was at one end of a field somewhere in NW Bristol (I think). Unfortunately I couldn't get a true judgement of scale or size.

anyone any ideas what / where it may have been?
