I've been volunteered for a gas-guzzling daytrip to Brizzol; nearest megalithic interest appears to be Stanton Drew. I may be able to persuade my potentially-cynical chauffeur to stop off for 10 minutes or so.
Yes, you can wear your "best" clothes round Stanton Drew, with the addition of boots, its fairly easy to find, turn down the little lane near the church and park in small car park. No there are'nt any other sites nearby - stones have been moved long time ago round North Somerset, except of course the Cove at the pub......So, how easy is it to get to wearing presentable work gear?
Are there any other unsung "easy" sites nearby?
The Mendips; old ancestral landscape round here, so how about Cheddar Caves, terribly themed but the caves and the river running through are quite something...
