This is appalling, not only for it's serious environmental and health concerns wherever it is increasingly undertaken, but also for the sheer insurmountable insanity it demonstrates.

Having read all the links carefully this made me want to weep. A lot of people today, and in the past, hold our beautiful planet sacred - yet although we number millions we have to watch rape taking place over and over again. Someone mentioned the Glastonbury springs, which have never run dry and are always pure - for how much longer.

We are all complicit though, us humans ... with our ever increasing consumption of energy.
