It wouldn't take much to confirm it as the gap is only about 20 m .

Jon , I think you may be thinking of the ridges on which support the bank and contain the short strech of , what may or may not be , periglacial stipes .They stretch to about halfway to the bend wioth a possible third to the east .Pics are almost unknown except for one radar image and one aerial cam .
