Not being funny, but how the fuk did they manage to get permission to build a damn road there anyway?????

I've never known any road to be physically that close to a site like that before. Asdie from pullotion the constant rumbling makes things unstable.

I really don't get it at all.

there's *always* been a road there, two in fact. The Harroway is what's now known as the A303. I'm not sure about the one along the side of the visitor centre, but the one running parallel to it in front of Larkhill is called "The Packway", which sounds jolly old too ...

the track was probably there before the stones ...
