I know very little of what is around your way StoneGloves other than what I have read and heard about, but yes I agree with you totally. Everything seems to be centred on you know where which must be very frustrating to folk in your neck of the woods. Talk about a north south divide!!

^ Ok then. One of the sad things about the north/south divide are the resident academic archaeologists. They run and teach on courses, in the north of England, yet do and organise fieldwork in the south. Or on Orkney! The monuments, in the Pennines for instance, are no less dramatic or valuable than those elsewhere. Yet they're entirely ignored!
