Yes, I've just come across the Stargate theory. And very interesting it is too. Thanks, Jimit, for the link to the Mike Deep-Pitts article. If only the archaeologists would bring their equipment to Bolton, or Northumberland, they'd find stuff that was even more interesting ...

I know very little of what is around your way StoneGloves other than what I have read and heard about, but yes I agree with you totally. Everything seems to be centred on you know where which must be very frustrating to folk in your neck of the woods. Talk about a north south divide!!
