I was going to watch this on BBC iPlayer, but after reading the reviews here I decided against it. ;)

In my opinion, it's always a good thing to get people interested in there things, and it's always nice to see such coverage on national telly.

It's always ruddy Stonehenge though, isn't it? :)

I may well revise my decision to watch this after listening to Noddy Holder on tonight's Radcliffe and Maconie (8pm Radio 2) cos apparently he'll be talking about it*. And I respect the opinion of a 70s glam rocker more than I do you lot, anyway. He's bound to know more than you... ;)

But seriously - might be nice to hear an unbiased opinion from someone a little less close to the subject. A lay person if you like. I mean that in a good way!

* This is true, btw...

It's the same old story though isn't it Goff, we're reaching so far back into the mists of time that little is for sure. Almost a blank canvas for people to paint their own theories upon; finish one canvas in that series then start on another, and before long you've got a whole gallery that's full and makes perfect sense to the painter - but in reality hangs on the slimmest thread of 'perhaps'.

Each bit of evidence (even those bits that are subsequently shown to have been misinterpreted) are of value though, and I agree with you totally when you say 'it's always a good thing to get people interested in these things, and it's always nice to see such coverage on national telly'.
