Each generation gets the Stonehenge its predecessors bequeath.

It took EH 35 years to admit its predecessors had presided over a mess up at Silbury.

I wonder how many years it would be before EH's successors admitted that removing a million cubic yards of the World Heritage Site was maybe not a very good thing to have done?
