Good to see you again, too, Jim. Unfortunately my guided tour had just started so I couldn't stop.

You don't seem to have crossed the road to the excavations on the eastern side. There was a dig on the bank and I was struck by the clean, brilliant whiteness of the chalk rubble, something that's been discussed here.

The archaeos were enthused by the neolithic floors. I was told (by Mike Parker Pearson) that I'd probably not see another south of the Scottish isles. I think there were eight.

I'm very glad I went.

Lots of great finds. Several more houses at Durrington walls; bluestone in postholes at Wooodhenge; evidence of stone settings including a cove.
