Getting soft in your old age?

Of course! That's what happens. The hardest of nuts goes soft, in the end. I spend most of my days wandering round in a contemplative haze, communing with nature and squirrels and wondering where my car keys are and thinking how lucky I am to be alive to lose them. It's only here that i get a little over-wrought.... ;)

I can't tell you how many times a week I wish we were all together again in Avebury. I am so totally bummed Loie and I can't cgo to the Get Together next month. You folks are the best.

I wouldn't have believed that until this evening when I took something out of the fridge only to find that it wouldn't go back in again. As if by magic the space that it had occupied had mysteriously disappeared and I stood there holding this thing (can't even remember what it was now) like an edible Chinese puzzle. Ended up putting it in the vegetable box where I keep the dried seaweed and grated bonito.
