...i didn't realise i could hit people and cars with my walking stick...
Oh yes, you can (not that I'm advocating violence towards people and their things of course ;-) but as long as you're prepared to give it a go it can be very satisfying.

Nigel's trick of apologizing as you 'accidentally bash them is a very good one and throws them into complete meltdown. I sometime apologise to people for whom I've held the post office door open (and they haven't had the courtesy to thank me) by saying, "I'm sorry not have been quicker at opening the door for you but my legs are not a quick as they used to be." Or when someone doesn't say thank you for something a, "Your welcome", with a Jack Nicholson grin, usually throws them ('though this can take several minuets depending on how thick they are :-)

I don't think we're becoming grumpy old people in our dotage maesi, I think society is becoming increasingly stupid ;-)

Prat.

Littlestone,

You're right. Also, society is becoming increasingly selfish, with the "me, me me" culture becoming more evident by the day. Most parents let their kids have too much of their own way, and then wonder why they turn into little shits, demanding this, that, and t'other, and creating if they don't get it. The usual reaction of the parents is "Well, what can you do?" I know what I'd do to the little shites. Political correctness doesn't help either. It's gone on for too long, and society is changing for the worse because of it. Plus the pathetic obsession with self-centred, so-called celebtrities, the talentless, overpaid twats. And don't get me started on the puffs who pretend to be footballers, the slapped arses.
And we wonder why people treat our ancient monuments with disrespect.
Rants and many regards,
The Eternal (proud owner of a lovely wife, no kids, and one vasectomy - who wants to bring kids up in todays society?) (:^

Good lord! This place is the grumpiest bunch of whiners I've ever met. I like it.
