This grant business comes around every few years.
There will be an appeal etc and the funds Will be raised.

was revamped last years. £1,000's spent on a refurb.
It now has flashy PC's and touch screens but the reference library upstairs has gone.
No more access to the complete WANHM archive or rare archaeo books.
If you want something from the ref library you have to ask for it and they will get it out of storage for you within a week.
My request for "Any books with a reference to Silbury and/or Avebury that I haven't read yet" was refused as being too vague.
