likewise

the walk from west bexington up onto the ridge and down again into abbotsbury is absolutely gorgeous and passes a dozen bronze again burial mounds and the abbotsbury iron age hillfort.


there is a tiny lesser known circle further on on the route to the hardy monument - it's on the OS map

grey mare and kingston circle (and the hut circles below) a must on another mid blowing ramble

Hi nix,

i don't know that walk into Abotsbury but it woulds wonderful, will definitely be trying that one out soon.
There is another good walk from Rempstone up to Nine barrows down (stunning views), if you keep going down the hill after passing the last barrow it will lead you eventually into Corfe villiage. You will see the castle quite early on, basically just head for that.
