Our local church has just had a notice put up, it says "this is concecrated area, dogs must be kept on a lead , at all times"
To me this was nonsense, if it had requested that dog owners should prevent their dogs from doing a plop in the churchyard, yes, of coarse.
We went around the wells of Cornwall several months ago, and some of them were dressed with the most magical array of small strips of material.
If we came across amy rubbish, we cleared it up.
It is my opinion, that a lot of the sites will origonally been highly decorated, with the strongest colours imaginable, and what we witness now, are the bare , fossil remnants.
If someone felt a spiritual need to decorate a place ( with a degradable substance ) who can tell them not to, and why would they tell them not to.?
