One site that stands out in my mind is Parc-y-Meirw,
I second this. We parked the car near the pub in the valley. A short walk along the river and a scramble up to Parcymeirw. A stroll along the top road brings you to the healing well, past some great stones in the hedgerow - alignment. There is a lovely church nearby and then follow the OS back to the valley, taking in some more stones and ancient bumps and hollows to fire the imagination.http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/118/parcymeirw.html
It's not spectacular but there are some fantastic views towards the sea and my overriding memory is of the peace and quiet of the place. Parking is a bit of a pain though...
