The only other word in gaelic that springs to mind is fáil, as in Fianna Fail which is usually translated as 'soldiers of destiny' but this meaning is disputed by some gaelic scholars. Would give the intruiging name 'The Pigs Destiny'! Maybe this is where the sausage was born.
