It is proving more difficult than I thought I offered to look for Swinside artwork for a friend who has family connections with the immediate area where the circle stands He mentioned that an illustration had appeared in the Gentleman’s Magazine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gentleman%27s_Magazine. There are compendiums of available but as it ran for nearly two hundred years I think it will be difficult to find.
