A couple of things:

Looking at the photos I have, I ended up looking at Stukley stuff, and found one of 'Maen yu daus' which seems to be down Land's End way. Any idea which one it is?

I've a recollection that Borlase's pics of a few of the circles seemed to indicate that there were settings of smaller stones around the large ones that are still there today. Is that the case, or is my brain confabulating at itself?

Talking of odd stuff. I recently bought Hencken's Scilly & Cornwall book (1933). It has a photo of Boscowen Un in there that's most odd:

The circle is on a walled platform with steps leading up to it. Anyone know owt about these? I don't remember the site like this. Am I really forgetful?

I'd guess that's the Maen's Dance - or the Merry Maidens as its known today...
