They show best in this picture - http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/36813 . The last one posted (the one that is presently seen on the home page) is the one that shows what the original glacial erratic must have looked like. (Look at the formerly below ground portion).

I'm not sure they were erratics. They may be bits of outcrop that were broken off, like at the Piper's chair.

I'm pretty sure the socket holes could be located, but the orientation would be a bugger to work out.

And there are other relocated stones, I can feel it in me bones.
