Wish I could ever've got round to writing fieldnotes, but I visited the sites over a period of about 5 years, during which I wasn't able to upload pix on here. So when I got me hands on a scanner, I just blitzed the lot in about 4 days.

I'm amazed how well I seem to remember most of 'em but i'm SERIOUSLY itching to go back!!!

Look forward to seeing the rest. Didya get to North Stronehttp://www.themodernantiquarian.com/site/4552? One of my (many!) faves - kinda dinky in a gorgeous open setting with wide views!!! Pleasant walk up, too.

Final two now up - not North Strone, as you'll see, but a couple of tiddlers ... in Aberdonian terms.

North Strone was on the planned itinerary for Tuesday (15/3) but I spent ages at Whitehill and then decided to push on south to see the unknown Tomnagorn ... good idea, as it turned out.

Don't know what rang my bell for so long at Whitehill. Perhaps it was the dull grey weather. <ding>
