Braved the elements and battled my way to the Goodaver Stone Circle on the edge of Smiths Moor today. Fieldnotes to follow but a few pix to be getting on with. Great site.

Like Mr H, I've never been up to this circle. Looking at the map you had a bit of a stroll! I don't know the land round there at all, but wouldn't it have been easier to walk up the hill NE from Harrowbridge/Goodaver? Or is that way all off limits?

I'd like to get there one day, but suspect the old knees would give up on me walking that far!
