We turned up at 4.00am, half an hour before sunrise and basically had insults shouted at us for having a goods night sleep and not being there all night.

I just said I didn't recognise them from winter solstice when it was cold & wet & not quite so much fun to be out all night.

Think we'll go somewhere else next year for summer solstice

Cheer up. You were probably part of a very accurate re-enactment of an original conversation. I'm sure there were prats about in the old days!

And graffiti artists. Though they were probably made to eat their own bits.
