Some have been moved. The ones in the field may be origianl.
The circle was described as "Over against Clatford" not next to or in Clatford.
West Overton grew by 50% in the 1800's and all the houses around the stones are relatively new and wouldn't have been there is Aubrey or Stukeleys day.

I always thought that the remains of the Manton longbarrow were in the hedgerow near to the original site. I found what I believed to be the capstone etc. As far as Clatford goes, I couldnt make out anything from the ariel shot whatsoever, I thought the circle was located near to the Kennet. There is a stone on the right as you go from Clatford towards the A4 - just over the bridge and near to the river. There are a load of stones in a vaguely circular shape nearby down a lane from Clatford to the A4...
