You'll be lucky !

An excellent print though - I'd suggest writing a few hundred words for Antiquity and sending them the pictures. I'll probably have the largest number of disputed sites here (including this one http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/43093 ) and have just about given up on them (the eds.), really. One thing's for certain, but. The ones who post 'it's a hedgebank' or 'it's just a natural feature' are retarded (or similar).

'Retarded'....hmmm....charming!

Stonelifter...

I have the strangest tale to tell...well strange, to me!

This morning I had to take a trip way out of my normal SouthWestern meanderings, and way off home turf. A mundane business-related jaunt, a co-pilot reading a routeplanner hastily printed off this AM.

So I'm reading the route-planner, and see 'Halliwell Rd', which sparked my memory of your above post.

'Nah'. Think I. Too spooky, as only one or two days ago I was poring over your pics thinking how creepy the place looked. So then, back to this morning, we turn onto the A666. At this point I'm clutching my lucky charm and feeling quite suggestible.

Then I forget about it and go about business. two hours later I turn to leave this obscure place, I look out of a window and see the view. My stomach literally lurched. I snapped a pic and have posted it.

Cheers!

Just too weird.

P.S. There's a peregrine there.
