west of the R*m*n rd they cut through several pond/round barrows near Oldbury.
Its hard to draw a straight line across this part of Wiltshire without hitting a mound of some sort.

It just struck as odd, when they took the road out of Bath, it went over Kingsdown missing the barrows up there but they could have been following an early prehistoric trackway that went alongside the barrows..
