The problem with cubits is that they vary enormously , Stukeley's druid's cubit = 20.8 inches but you can add or subtract as much as 5 inches for other cubits .

I think there's something going on with this lot, though I don't know what.
A while back, I mentioned on here I felt there was something "just right" about the Stanton drew NE Circle and someone else said they had felt the same thing.

So maybe there's a proportionality issue, not just a size one - i.e. the relationship between the diameter of the circle and the height of the uprights, at about 6:1 ..........
