Spot on, 4W. I have no problem with the art work itself, some conceptual stuff is very interesting and provoking. It's the monumental tosh spouted by the 'critics', 'intellectuals' or whoever that I have problems with. As you say, elitist - and discriminatory. Very much the 'if you can't see what I see then you are inferior to me' school of prattism...

And, I have realised only this morning, here we touch on why I don't like the spiritual/stone link.

It becomes elitist. It says that I get more from the stones than you lot and they're not for you. It says I understand these more than you, so leave them alone.

All my writings are from this perspective. "You don't need to *feel the power* and see purple ley lines to get loads form these places."

It's quite refreshing to finally know why I'm such a git :-)

And for those that don't know, Michael Franti actually says "Everybody deserves music", but I like to stretch it a little :-)
