It has to be said that "utter bollocks" is also a very easy thing to type, whether or not it is actually correct.

People miss the piont with modern art all too willingly sometimes. I think this will look fantastic at the Rollrights and will add a dimension to the place that I am looking forward to seeing. It seems to be being done in a spirit of utter respect for the place, that I know the Trust are very happy with, rather than as a glorified advertising hoarding (See Uffington)

I reserved my comment for the critique, not the art. I've just seen the art on Channel 4 News, and it's very very effective and arresting.

All the more reason for the writing to be not nonsense. I mean, what am I to make of "

Like Nigelswift, my criticism was aimed at the words not the art.

The only real reservation I have about the art itself is that if I turned up to see the ANY stones for the first (and maybe only) time & it had ANYTHING in the middle, I'd be pissed off. Even if it was reasonably cool stuff!

As it happens I've seen the Rollrights & if I undertood after weeding out the 'utter bollocks' I think the art sounds quite interesting :^)
