hi sals,

hey great. if you have any recommendations for camping, i'd really appreciate it. i found this one place near stornoway, but if you have some ideas i'd appreciate them.

also, cheers for the advice about taking wellies. for some reason i thought it would be hard terrain, but i'll pack the ol' gumboots in now.

was the weather good for you while you were there?

ciao (mein)

Hi Scott,

We went there for 10 days last July, and although you could say it was probably 2 days too long, we saw everything (twice) and that wasn't a bad thing. It gave us a chance to visit our favourite sites several times at different times of day, and very different weather! There are just so many places with nothing but crashing waves and big skies, where you can just sit and be........
Wah, wanna go back now!!

Don't worry about sunday too much if you have transport, and theres a nice pub on the road between Callanish and Dun Carloway that does a cracking 3 course sunday lunch for a tenner. Oh and visit every art gallery/jewellery studio etc-there are some truly talented people on the island.

Above all, enjoy.
