I actually think wind turbines look quite beautiful.

As someone who grew up 5 minutes away from 2 nuclear power stations, (which destroyed one of the most beautiful bays on the North West coastline) I would much rather see wind turbines on the landscape than huge great power stations.

My friend who lives on Lewis has been working on the research into the environmental impact of wind turbines on the ecology and breeding habitats of birds and they have protested about the ones which were to be situated on the Sleeping Beauty.
