Hello megmiller - an intriguing post and question. I've had a look at Tiompan's link and yes, a good start. I'm also very interested in ancient mythology, particularly that relating to the British Isles. I came across a link to a book called 'Phoenician Ireland' by Joaquin Lorenzo Villanueva - I know nothing about it other than the few pages I've just read. You may want to have a look yourself.
