This great stone commemorates one of the Feine giants, Oscar the illustrious one ' whose banner never went a foot back until the grey earth trembled'

I'm looking for more information on the 'Feine Giants' and would be most grateful for any assistance in this. :)

Hello megmiller, welcome, great looking site that.

thanks for the replies, I know what I'll be doing this evening... :)

Yesterday I went to take a picture of Clach Oscar, a friend told me it was on the left side of the path running down the right of Loch Sguabaidh. So, I took a walk, maybe more of a stumble... through the snow and mud, the first rock I came to was on the right of the path (split in 3 - the pic here with an arrow), but further along was a much larger rock (split in 2 - the pic I took yesterday) Just wondering now which one is Clach Oscar?

Hello :-)
