Yes, but he'll not be able to handle it, probably. I thought maybe he might be persuaded to work on some reproductions of Boltonian rock art while he was still inside (I'll try and put a letter together). There's a fragment of a spiral, probably passage grave art, that could do with recreating from drawings - in sandstone - usefully! Just wait ...

And I've got a piece awaiting collection from a nearer museum. I couldn't bear the disappointment of what they're going to try and tell me it is, so haven't rushed to get it. Also ( http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20126915.700-comment-why-we-must-save-our-astronomical-heritage.html ).

Hmmm, can't see the authorities taking kindly to a letter to a convicted faker asking him to do some "reproductions" while he's in there!

This is very interesting -

Unfortunately, only "lightbox" type arrangements will stand a chance though, on the basis of certainty. Mind you. the Sanctuary-Silbaby-Silbury alignment looks so accurate that it ought to be celebrated, but the middle bit doesn't officially exist so far. Give it twenty years and it'll get officially discovered maybe, and you won't be able to move for coach parties of Americans looking at it. There's a lesson for you there, maybe.
