There are some markings on her that don't come out in the photograph, but they're very faint. There may be the groove of a fingernail, too.

After having her for a few months, I'm sure that she was meant to be held - she's just the right size and shape; also I think she's to do with the weather.

I don't want to take her to a museum because I feel that she is domestic, and if she has any secrets to reveal it will be in a domestic setting, with family, cooking, gardening and pets and not a museum case.

Surely it'd be worth it though, if only to find out if she/it is what you think she/it is. If it really is a goddess figure then you've got something extremely special.

To be honest, the photos you've posted are a bit... how do I put this tactfully... blurred. It's hard to see what the object is. Sorry if this sounds negative, but I'd be genuinely interested to see the detail on the object.
