Never heard of Jacob's Stone at Otmoor! Got any more info?

Thanks Jane. The stone is located near the centre of the Otmoor region, near a small crossroads. The Jacob's or Joseph's stone in Otmoor is mentioned in an inscription featured in the Bodleian Library that reads 'Jacob's stone of high renown, to help me up when I am down, On my way to the seven towns'. The seven towns are thought to be the villages that now reside in Otmoor.
Looking at pictures it isn't a monolith, looks more like a roman milestone. I'm trying to find out as much as I can for a story I'm writing so thanks for your assistance, much appreciated.
If anyone else has any stories or knowledge of the stones mentioned?
