Took this today, I was driving out of Avebury on the school run when I spotted the light rays shining through the tree's so I did an about turn and got me camera out ;)
There were layers of Mist hanging around and a thick frost on the ground, lovely stuff.
I look forward to some snow this week !

Nice one. Was walking along the dried-up bed of the Winterbourne on Friday and the light, shadows and view of Silbury from that level is something special.

Do the stones leave frost shadows, so that there's a patch of frost hanging about where the sun hasn't hit?

If not, shame on them, they ought to.
