thought I should bump this up for the majority who access TMA with work computers.
Of course they did find some 'building stones' about the bases, but they would have reported any potential kerbs or facings.

I suppose you can discover something about the environmental conditions at different times ie when different layers were laid down - by looking at tiny testate amoebas or snail species or pollen grains. But I'm not sure if you could decide on when things were going on or .. actually I'm not sure at all.
